Delta Air Lines has surpassed 1,000 active aircraft following the delivery of its latest Airbus A321neo, further strengthening its position as one of the world’s largest commercial airline operators. The newly delivered A321neo is part of the airline’s ongoing narrowbody fleet renewal program.
Delta’s fleet includes the Airbus A220, A319, A320, A321neo, A330-200/300, A330-900neo, and A350-900, as well as the Boeing 717, 737-800/900ER, 757, and 767.
The airline also plans to expand its fleet in the coming years with deliveries of the Airbus A350-1000, Boeing 737 MAX 10, and Boeing 787-10, while gradually retiring older aircraft.
Earlier in 2026, Delta also placed an order with Airbus for 31 additional widebody aircraft, including 16 A330-900neos and 15 A350-900s.
